DanceFit and Pilates every Wednesday at South Luffenham Village Hall

Every Wednesday morning at 9:15am – 10:15am, I run my DanceFit class at South Luffenham Village Hall, near to Stamford.  This class is for all ages and abilities, just as long as you want to have fun and dance like no one is watching!  To a whole host of international and popular music, simple dance moves are demonstrated in an easy to follow fashion.  No worries if you get a step confused, just keep on dancing, that is our motto at South Luffenham DanceFit!  I will demonstrate different levels of moves, in case you want to take the class a little slower or with more impact, depending on your mood! This DanceFit class at South Luffenham mixes cardio, toning and finally a lovely stretching section at the end.  Please wear trainers and bring some water.

On a Wednesday morning at 10:30am – 11:30am we meet at South Luffenham Village Hall for a mixed ability Pilates class.  The class caters for all levels of ability and ages and is an extremely fun and friendly class! In the Pilates class we spend the first part of the class warming up and setting up the body, we then go through a whole host of exercises. These Pilates exercises tone up the whole of the body and we also work on flexibility and posture.  At the end of the class we have a relax and stretch which is a great reward after the class!  All of the exercises and stretches in this Pilates class at South Luffenham will be explained clearly, in order to make sure that you understand the moves.  Please remember to go at a pace that you feel comfortable with, there are lots of different levels with all Pilates exercises so you can find a level that you feel happy to practice at.

**Please bring a mat and some water with you.  Also please wear comfortable clothing, we do the class in socks/bare feet as shoes make the class much harder!**

Before coming to either my DanceFit or Pilates class at South Luffenham, please fill out a Health Screening Questionnaire and bring to your first class.  This is just to see if there are any health issues/injuries that I need to be aware of.

South Luffenham Village Hall is located opposite to the Boot Pub in South Luffenham down Hall Lane. We are allowed to park in the car park of the Boot Pub.  There are toilets and a kitchen where you can get water from.

  1. Hello,
I´m writing to you regarding your zumba clases. I would like to visit your lesson on Wednesday in Ketton at 9:30am. Is that possible or is it full already?
    Have a nice day,
    Luisa Kočvarová

  2. How much is your double Zumba/Pilates class on Wednesday?
Can I bring the health questionnaire with me on Wed or do you require it prior to the class?

    • Hello Karen

Many thanks for your email, apologies at not getting back to you sooner but my emails have been down! The double class on a Wednesday would cost £10.50 and you are most welcome to come along as there is space! I am away from Monday 21st October to Friday 1st November. Please bring your health questionnaire to your first class just so that I can see if you have any health issues or injuries I need to know about.

      Take care

      Louise
